The Tibidabo Funicular Railway is the quickest, most iconic and sustainable way to get to the top of Tibidabo. The historical funicular has been carrying citizens, tourists and visitors to the highest point in Barcelona since 1901, with spectacular panoramic  views of the city to behold from the top. The railway covers a distance of 1.1 km, with an ascent of 252 metres. The journey takes seven minutes and connects the district of Sarrià – Sant Gervasi with the Collserola mountain range, from Plaça Doctor Andreu to Plaça Tibidabo.
