Tibidabo Amusement Park with UNICEF

Tibidabo Amusement Park has been a strategic partner of the UNICEF Catalan Committee since September 2012

From the outset, the objective of the partnership between the two organisations has been to raise awareness of children's rights among society and the park's visitors. This partnership represents a step forward in the social-awareness initiatives that Tibidabo Amusement Park carries out throughout the year, with the aim of spreading messages of tolerance, solidarity and respect among all its visitors, especially the very young.

Thanks to the commitment of Tibidabo Amusement Park, which gives UNICEF 0.4% of the proceeds from its tickets and family passes, as well as a whole 2 euros from every solidarity-activity ticket, the Park continues to implement programmes for the most vulnerable children around the world and, in particular, for the Schools for Africa initiative.

Various activities, educational workshops, talks and events have been held in cooperation with UNICEF to explain children's rights to the families and children who visit the Park. What’s more, UNICEF has taken part in a number of editions of the Song of Peace festival.

Extending the partnership

In October 2017, both organisations extended their partnership, where 4 mascots were added, representing the values and essence of Tibidabo Amusement Park

We are talking about TI-BI-DA-BO, four of Collserola Nature Park's representative animals that collaborate with the UNICEF Catalan Committee in promoting the children's rights among young children and families.

Under the commitment to extend the partnership between all the interest groups, channels, spaces and activities, Tibidabo Amusement Park and the UNICEF Catalan Committee are working closely together so the rights of every child in the world are guaranteed and can be fully exercised.

UNICEF promotes the rights and well-being of every child in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing our efforts in particular on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.
